Fine Art students, Danielle Lin Xuan-En and Seow Fei Ding, won Third and Fifth Prize respectively in the “Pertandingan Melukis Potret Tokoh Pendidikan Nasional” organised by Muzium Pendidikan Nasional, UPSI on 13 October 2020. Both of their artworks have become a permanent collection of the museum.
A group of Fine Art Department students,Lim Xiao Mun, Tan Hong Jie, Danielle Lin Xuan-En, Seow Fei Ding and Sin Yee Chin, participated in the Mural Painting Project at Weststar, Taman Melawati from 5 – 8 October 2020.
A group of Fine Art students and alumni, Cheah Li Li, Sin Yee Chin, Emily Chow Wen Qi and Nooy Xin Yen was the Finalists for VAP4 exhibition at Rumah Tangsi Gallery from 2-13 September 2020. The project was funded under MyCreative Ventures and PENJANA.
Fine Art student, Tan Hong Jie, won the Jury’s Award while Tan Kuiyin was one of the Finalists in the Maybank MyTiger Values Art Competition 2020. This annual celebration is mainly to raise awareness for tiger conservation in conjunction with Global Tiger Day that was held on 29 July 2020.
