Executive, Accounts

Job Responsibilities:
  • To prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
  • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Develop, implement, modify and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.
  • Interact with company banking and financial partners, auditor, tax advisory agency and company secretary.
  • Preparation of full set of accounts, including annual budget and cash flow statements of the Institute.
  • Responsible for daily cash handling / accounting operations.
  • Prepare daily or weekly report of Accounts Department.
  • Other duties assigned by the Institute from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Administration or equivalent with at least 2 years related working experience.
  • Able to handle full set of accounts and with a good knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
  • Familiar with UBS accounting system and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate comfortably in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and able to multi task.

Lecturer in Interior Design

Job Responsibilities:
  • To teach at Degree level.
  • To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of course syllabus.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Masters in Architecture / Interior Design with at least two years working experience in Interior & Architecture Design industry.
  • And / or well versed in Interior Architecture design studio and / or strong technical skills such as Architectural Detailing / Interior Construction, 3D Interior Design modelling tools, Digital imaging etc.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.

  • A disciplined person and passion working in design education.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Officer, Extra Mural Studies

Job Responsibilities:
  • To provide good and prompt customer service to all front office enquiries and guests/visitors.
  • To answer and handle phone calls professionally and tactfully and transfer calls to the appropriate staff.
  • To provide administrative support.
  • To manage enquiries and registration of courses /activities / programmes / talks / workshops / events, etc.
  • To monitor the progress of the courses /activities / programmes / talks / workshops / events, etc.
  • To assist in the promotion of the courses /activities / programmes / talks / workshops / events, etc.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent. However, fresh graduates may also apply.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in education industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word and Excel is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must be courteous with pleasant and good telephone etiquette.
  • Able to work in a team and requires minimum supervision.
