Lecturer in Interior Design

Job Responsibilities:
  • To teach at Degree level.
  • To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of course syllabus.
  • To carry out other duties related to the teaching of courses.
  • Other duties assigned by the Institute from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Masters in Architecture / Interior Design with at least two years working experience in Interior & Architecture Design industry.
  • And / or well versed in Interior Architecture design studio and / or strong technical skills such as Architectural Detailing / Interior Construction, 3D Interior Design modelling tools, Digital imaging etc.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Officer

Job Responsibilities:
  • To answer telephone calls and respond to queries on the phone.
  • Welcome visitors at the Reception counter.
  • Assist in course inquiries as and when required.
  • To assist in events organized by the Institute, especially at MIACC.
  • To handle general administrative work and clerical duties, especially assisting Deputy CEO.
  • To write articles or news report as and when required.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Diploma in Administration or any field. However, fresh graduates may also apply.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Data entries and manage the daily admin and account operation.

Assistant Documentation Controller

Job Responsibilities:
  • Daily office general administrative works inclusive of survey forms analysis and compilation documentation.
  • Administrative matters i.e. preparing and processing notices, memos, circulars, mails, general filing of documents and typing.
  • Taking minutes of meeting and discussions as may be assigned by the Institute from time to time.
  • Any other general administrative and secretarial duties as assigned from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer or the Board of Directors of the Institute.
  • Coordinate with Ministry of Education (MOHE-JPT) and Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) in licensing, accreditation matters, MyQuest as well as TVET and ISO.
  • To manage MQA documentations, MyQuest submission and matters relating to TVET.
  • Other duties assigned by the Institute from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Administration or equivalent with at least 2 years related working experience.
  • Knowledge and skills in using computer software (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, etc).

Trainer, TVET

Job Responsibilities:
  • Teach trainees with reliability, transparency and authenticity.
  • Comply with the instructions set by the PP (Assessor).
  • Assist the Assessor (PP) in implementing the training.
  • Explain to the trainees on the objectives and training requirements of the program that they wish to follow.
  • Assist the PP (Assessor) in the PdP (Teaching and Learning) process as follows:
    • i. Guide candidates in preparing records of evidence of skills.
    • ii. Monitor the development of performance and guide trainees in each skill; and
    • iii. Comply with the instructions set by the PLK (Skills Training Provider) / PB (Accredited Centre).
  • Any other relevant duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Possess at least five (5) years of work experience in a related field, recognized by JPK.
  • Have passed the PP/PPD/PPB Induction Course.
  • Possess a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) in Graphic Design and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
  • Possess proficiency in design and multimedia software relevant to the programme, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, as well as relevant 3D software such as Autodesk Maya or 3ds Max.
  • Be engaged with only one (1) Skills Training Centre/Accredited Centre at any one time.
  • Possess good communication and speaking skills in Bahasa Melayu and English.
