Chairman`s Message

Mr. Khoo Ee Ping (JMW)
Chairman of Board of Directors

Warm greetings from the Board of Directors of Malaysian Institute of Art.

Being the pioneer in art, design and music education provider in Malaysia, MIA has built a legacy of producing capable individuals for the creative industry over the years. The Institute has advocated creative education for more than five decades and counting. We believe that the quality creative education we provide gives creative youths an opportunity to harness their potential to the fullest. Arts education is no less important than any other type of education because of the vital role art can play in society; it can inspire people to come together and to teach or spread important messages. Any youth who wants to make a difference in society through art is welcomed at MIA!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we pledge to give our continuous support and effort to drive MIA to the forefront. With our outstanding team of administrative and academic staff, we have strong faith that the Institute will continue to remain relevant and provide the quality art, design and music education that suits the fast changing environment of the creative industry.
