Chin Yong Music Festival 2016

Lau Yoke Poh, a Semester 6 Music student secured a Bronze Award at the Chin Yong Music Festival held at KL and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on July 2nd and 3rd, 2016. She had also received a full scholarship to further her music studies at NanJing University, China.

Asia Arts Festival 2016

13 Music students had competed in the Asia Arts Festival held at Sentosa Resorts World Convention Centre, Singapore, from 22 – 24July 2016.Our students grabbed 2 Gold, 10 Silver and 2 Bronze Awards with one participant having won two awards. The MIA Mixed Choir had participated and won a Gold Diploma C in the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod Choir Competition 2016 which was held at SJKC Yuk Chai Auditorium, Petaling Jaya from 6 – 7 August 2016.
