In the highly competitive ‘Stand Out In Creativity’ design competition organized by OPPO Malaysia, MIA students triumphed over participants from Sunway College and Xiamen University Malaysia. They clinched the majority of the top prizes, showcasing their innovative design prowess.
In the Wallpaper category, Khoo Jia Yu, a second-semester Visual Communication student, won the Grand Prize, while her peer Eng Xue Li secured the 2nd Prize. In the Phone Case category, Visual Communication student Ong Chun Yi took home the Grand Prize, followed by Liou Min Wen from Textile & Fashion Design winning the 2nd Prize, and Tan Hon Xin, a sixth-semester Visual Communication student, claiming the 3rd Prize.
