The 39 members of the MIA Mixed Voices Choir including the conductor, Ms. Saw San San, attended the 5th Beijing International Teenager Art Week – 2018 Beijing International Chorus Carnival, which is sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education from 14 – 22 October 2018. Besides the local Chinese choirs, there were 11 invited choirs from USA, South Africa, Finland, Latvia, Austria, Spain, Poland, Korea, Japan, Macau and Malaysia, who participated in this event. The choir performed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Tsinghua University, and had opportunities to perform with Westminster Choir College and University of Johannesburg Choir.
