Textile and Fashion Design student Lye Chi Xian won the Most Promising prize with his theme “Ding” in the Ladies Shoes category of the 5th Malaysia Footwear Design Competition 2012 which was organized by Malaysian Footwear Manufacturers Association. He won RM 1,000 cash prize, a trophy and certificate. While student from Interior Design department, Sheireen Sim Peck Yoke won the 3rd prize with theme “Lock & Key-Perfect Matching” in the Men Shoes category in the same competition. She won RM1, 500 cash prize, a trophy and certificate.
