Tie-dye is an organic method of fabric pattern creation. Understand the essence of textile design, function and communication in artistic as well as commercial context. In this course, you will learn about tie-dye, colours absorb and fabric resists art. Learn the usage of common terms, design principles and colours study in textile design. Through this course, you will be exposed to functional tie-dye art usage as well as presentation in art form. 

About the Instructor:

Tan Yong Tiong graduated from MIA in Diploma in Textile and Fashion Design in 2000. He is the founder of Laguna Sydney which launched in Sydney, Australia in year 2015. He has over 20 years of working experiences in the fashion retail industry. He has been tutoring and lecturing in MIA for Textile and Fashion design subjects since year 2011 till now.
