Immerse yourself in the beautiful exploration of watercolour painting. This intensive watercolour short course is designed for amateurs who wish to explore and advance their watercolour painting approaches and to develop unique individual style. The class is also open to art tutors who would like to advance their teaching into more comprehensive approaches. Learn how to paint with varied washed techniques and also depiction skills and styles. A variety of concepts, subjects, application techniques, and forms of watercolour are explored to provide the learner with a complete exposure to this popular art-making medium.
About Instructor:
Liew Ting Chuang graduated with a Masters of Arts (Visual Art and Design) in University of Sains, Penang.
He lectured as a Visual Art Lecturer in New Era University College. His achievements include winning a few awards such as Bakat Muda Sezaman – Juror Award in year “13, nominated as Malaysia representative to Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Signature Art Prize 2011, IMCAS 2009 Artistin-Residence, finalist in Singapore Art Show 2009, 1st Prize in Penang Young Contemporary Artist Competition 2007, major awards in Tanjong Heritage Art Competition yearly (2006-2008) and finalist in The World Biennial Exhibition of Photography 2007. He had participated in numerous exhibitions locally and nationally such as Asia Network Beyond Design (ANBD), 1Malaysia Contemporary Art Tourism “Sparkles In Penang”, etc.
