MIA is a community of lively young artists in the making. At MIA, students will find themselves experiencing and exploring new creative forms, expressions of various kind of arts and skills that will contribute to their future careers. To enhance the live and learn experience, we provide an ideal hands-on learning environment, classrooms and facilities for our students as well as living facilities closer to campus. We house our students at hostels and apartment units which is walking distance to the campus. This will reduce the cost of transportation and save commuting time. With students staying nearby, it is also more convenient for them to utilize campus facilities and get together for group projects. With the growing numbers of amenities around the campus and an upcoming mall, MIA is located in an area where students can truly live and learn to the fullest. stage. INDUSTRIAL DESIGN DEPARTMENT SHOW 2019
The Malaysian Institute of Art Industrial Design Department has gathered works of department to feature in its Departmental Show at the MIA Main Campus, Taman Melawati. The show entitled " MAZE ”, which expressing that design process are like a maze, the entrance of MAZE as project brief, we have to go through every part with creativity and come out a design as exit of MAZE. Date: 28th June- 13th July 2019 Operating hours and days: • Monday – Friday : 11am to 5pm • Saturday : 11am to 1pm • Sunday & Public Holiday: Closed Venue: MIA Gallery, Main Campus, Taman Melawati

INTERIOR DESIGN DIPLOMA SHOW 2019
The Malaysian Institute of Art Interior Design Department has gathered works of graduates to feature in its Diploma Show at the MIA City Campus, Jalan Ampang. The show entitled “AWAKENING…and moving forward”, will be exhibiting projects that express the concern for the environment and the wellbeing of the community that needs immediate attention. The graduates will demonstrate their attempt to define various problems and solutions concerning; the awareness of upcycling, disaster safety experience, orangutan conservation, lifelong learning for the elderly, just to name a few. The exhibition will be on from 29th June till 27th July 2019. For more information please contact MIA City Campus at 03-2022 2515.
