MIA is a community of lively young artists in the making. At MIA, students will find themselves experiencing and exploring new creative forms, expressions of various kind of arts and skills that will contribute to their future careers. To enhance the live and learn experience, we provide an ideal hands-on learning environment, classrooms and facilities for our students as well as living facilities closer to campus. We house our students at hostels and apartment units which is walking distance to the campus. This will reduce the cost of transportation and save commuting time. With students staying nearby, it is also more convenient for them to utilize campus facilities and get together for group projects. With the growing numbers of amenities around the campus and an upcoming mall, MIA is located in an area where students can truly live and learn to the fullest. stage. This group exhibition is a form of dedication and celebration by students who have recently graduated from MIA Diploma in Illustration programme. For the first time, these 9 graduates got together to display and present their final semester Illustration projects to the public. This Diploma show serves as a very important platform for these young graduates as they are ready to take their steps into the art and design industry; at the same time, this will also be a great moral support to boost confidence into their artistic career. This Diploma show includes Illustration works ranging from diverse issues and subject matters explored through manual and digital approaches with varieties of styles and expressions.

Graduates from MIA Industrial Design department year 2017, have come together to hold a Diploma show at the MIA Gallery from 4th May to 5th June 2018. This Diploma show titled “+ - x ÷”, is the results of their creative learning experience that haves molded and strengthen them in their design and thinking. “+” represent rethink whereby students are trained to rethink how they appreciate design. “‒” represent less anxious for students to build up their confidence to do design. “×” represent concept and design where students have a strong basic knowledge of design process. “÷” represent outline and consideration in making decisions on what make a final good design. Welcome to the world of Industrial Design!
