MIA is a community of lively young artists in the making. At MIA, students will find themselves experiencing and exploring new creative forms, expressions of various kind of arts and skills that will contribute to their future careers. To enhance the live and learn experience, we provide an ideal hands-on learning environment, classrooms and facilities for our students as well as living facilities closer to campus. We house our students at hostels and apartment units which is walking distance to the campus. This will reduce the cost of transportation and save commuting time. With students staying nearby, it is also more convenient for them to utilize campus facilities and get together for group projects. With the growing numbers of amenities around the campus and an upcoming mall, MIA is located in an area where students can truly live and learn to the fullest. stage. MIA Young Musician Competition 2019
The Competition is intended for young classical musicians who are instrumentalists* or singers; and is open to participants who are 15 to 29 years old in 2019. The purpose of organizing the competition is to create a platform for young musicians to converge to compete, share and learn from each other. At the same time, as an art education institution, we offer scholarship for budding musicians to study in MIA and also cash prizes to support our young classical musicians’ talent and passion... This programme is specially designed to prepare students for actual event operations with relevant knowledge, elements and attributes of and event planner incorporated with the knowledge of the arts. This programme emphasizes application of the knowledge learnt into real-world context to create and develop events from ideas that will suit market needs and train future professionals in the events industry. Through this programme, students are exposed to different areas of event management and activities imbued in the wide range of conventional and experimental practices.
